The Gates Cambridge Scholarship is for one year of study as an affiliated student or graduate student at the University of Cambridge. In selecting Gates Cambridge Scholars, the foundation seeks students of exceptional academic achievement and scholarly promise. Students are encouraged to provide evidence of their ability to make a significant contribution to their discipline.
Eligibility: Candidates must:
hold, or expect to obtain before the application deadline, a bachelor’s degree
gain admission to the University of Cambridge and to a constituent college (the application procedures are separate from the selection procedures for selection as a Gates Cambridge Scholar. Please note, those applying for a Master’s or Doctoral study are admitted to Cambridge through the Board of Graduate Studies; those applying for a second Bachelor’s degree are admitted by a College). Be under the age of 30
